This Softpaq creates .CAB files that contain a binary image for the System ROM for Armada M300 Series notebooks with a 686R Family ROM. The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running F10 Setup. To flash (upgrade) the ROM image remotely over a network with these .CAB files, you must use Remote Management Software such as Compaq System Software Manager (SSM).
