HP Scanjet 5500cxi drivers

You might find that some features are no longer available when
using this basic driver. We are sorry to inform you that a full
feature driver for Windows Vista or Windows XP Professional x64
Edition will not be availab

Once the file is downloaded, double-click the file, and it will
automatically decompress and execute.

It will place the patch files in the C:TempISPatch directory.
Once the update has been installed, the C:TempISPatch directory
can safely be deleted.

This is an updated version of the patch that fixes an issue that
causes an invalid "administrative rights" error on some systems
during install.

Unless you have Microsoft Office 2003, you do not need to
install this update.

The problem may only happen intermittently and may depend on the
total number and type of pages scanned.

Error sending scans to AOL's (v 8.0) using the HP Photo and
Imaging's Send to Email feature. Either the feature won't work or
you may get a File not found error.

Install this program only if you are experiencing this type of
error when trying to use the Send to Email feature with AOL, v
8.0.
